AL HIJJAWI group was established in 1950 by Mr. Mahmood Al Hijjawi, reaching today by his son Mr. Ahmad Hijjawi to become one of the pioneered business groups in General & Auto trading in Jordan. It all started with Cairo Restaurant located at the heart of Jordan’s capital Amman in 1950, followed by fashion & clothing shops in 1970. In 1980, with the increasing demands for lands, Mr. Ahmad Al Hijjawi started land trading & Real Estate In 1987, HG stared their first gas station located in Al Madeena Al Munawwarah Street, followed with several gas stations across the country. In 1992, Quick Meal restaurant chain was started in Amman and became a trend at time that inspired many others to follow concept. In 1995, HG starts representing several Auto brands; it represents a wide group of international Autos brands such as SUBARU MOTORS, SANGYOUNG MOTORS in addition to other four Chinese brands (HAFEI, LIFAN, BRILLIANCE, BYD & HAIMA, FOTON & recently KING LONG) Nowadays, HG and SUBARU entering their 20th anniversary. In 2003, HG stared a successful Saudi franchise AL TAZAJ Restaurat, HG TAZAJ Jordan branch has the biggest TAZAJ restaurant in the Middle East.
