The Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) is a new agency of the Government of Jordan, mandated with attracting and facilitating domestic and foreign investments; investment promotion; ensuring the sustainability of an attractiveness of the investment climate, as well as stimulating economic activity; boosting confidence in the investment environment, and the development, organization and increase of exports. The JIC merges the Jordan Investment Board (JIB) and the Development Zones with the Free Zones Commission (DZFC) and assumes the responsibilities for export promotion that was formerly managed by the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO).
