The Binational Fulbright Commission in Jordan was created by a bilateral agreement between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the United States of America in May 1993. Our office in Amman, referred to as the “Fulbright House” has been operating since 1994. Seeking to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and Jordan, this Commission is responsible for the sponsorship, funding and administration of prestigious awards offered annually on a merit-based, competitive basis to Jordanians and Americans.
